Moki Schwartz

Moki has been working for Kivunim for the past 10 years, the last 5 in a full-time capacity. He holds a BA and MA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is also a licensed tour guide. He is an ABD (all but degree (PhD) in Jewish history with a special interest in the Land of Israel and the history of Zionism and the State of Israel. He is faculty for one of our two humanities courses entitled Land, People, Ideas: The Challenges of The Middle East and assists in the second humanities course entitled Civilization and Society: Homelands in Exile. Moki is also responsible for conducting and supervising our weekly field experiences within Israel and assists in the implementation of our international travels. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife Rahel and 3 children, Harry, Michael, and Natalie.
